WARNING:

Before installing a new database, make sure to export the inventories of your current database (follow procedure written bellow).

It is possible to transfer the data (inventories) from the other version of Omnidia to this later version

 

First, load Omnidia

In the main menu, select "change datafile"

Then select our old datafile (BASE2009 or BASE 2004 or BASE2012 or BASE2000 or BASE2013 in the OMNIS7 repertory)

Click on "inventories"

Select "export text/tab" in the inventories menu

Give the inventories number you want to transfer

Omnidia will create a text file

Give a name to this file

In the main menu, select "change datafile"

Open Base2015 (in C:\PROGRAM FILES\RAINING DATA CORP\OMNIS7381RT)

Then click on "inventories"

Select "import text/tab" in the inventories menu

Select the text file just created.
